We maintain long-standing accreditations with IATF 16949:2016 Automotive Quality Management, ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 and a number of customer-specific standards.

Our quality standards are evident throughout our entire operation from initial concept to the delivery of the final component. As such, we comply with the International Material Data System (IMDS), the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACh), the Global Automotive Declarable Substance List (GADSL) and the Restriction of Hazardous Substance Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS).

At Fibrax Limited, we recognise that in our day-to-day operations, we impact the environment in a number of ways. We are committed to reducing detrimental environmental effects caused by our activities wherever possible and preventing environmental pollution as a result of the activities of the organisation.

In particular, we:

  • Ensure employees, including contractors, are responsible for working in a manner that protects the environment. We continue to educate our workforce by providing updated environmental awareness training to reduce our impact on the environment.
  • Fully integrate environmental management into operating procedures to ensure long-term and short-term environmental issues are considered. We are committed to continual improvements in all areas of potential environmental impact. We communicate progress on these issues to employees and interested parties.
  • Audit operations on a regular basis to identify strengths and areas for improvement, and to highlight actions required for the prevention of potential deficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and where no regulation exists, we shall set our own standards in line with industry best practice.

 

Wherever possible, we eliminate process waste and ensure best practicable disposal where waste cannot be eliminated.

Fibrax Limited acknowledges and accepts its legal responsibilities for securing the health, safety and welfare of all its employees, sub-contractors working on its behalf and all others affected by its activities under the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974. The company endeavours to provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions so far as reasonably practicable.

 

Fibrax is committed to the prevention of injury and ill health to all employees and others that may be affected by the undertakings of our business; achieved by identifying hazards, assessing related risks and managing those risks.

 

Fibrax operates a health and safety management system, which provides the framework for planning, implementing, checking and reviewing health and safety performance throughout the organisation. Annual objectives and targets are set out for the continual improvement of the management of health and safety; these are reviewed periodically to ensure progress is being made and the objectives are being met.

 

Fibrax Limited will ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable:

  • The provision and maintenance of plant, equipment and systems of work that are safe and without risks to health and safety.
  • Arrangements for ensuring safety and absence of risks to health in connection with the use, handling, storage and transport of articles and substances.
  • The provision of such information, instruction, training and supervision as is necessary to ensure the health and safety at work of our employees.
  • The maintenance of any place of work under our control in a condition that is safe and without risks to health, and the provision and maintenance of means of access to and egress from it that are safe and without such risks.
  • The provision and maintenance of a working environment for our employees that is safe, without risks to health, and adequate as regards facilities and arrangements for their welfare at work.

 

We maintain emergency procedures to take account of unexpected risks to health and safety, such as the outbreak of fire.

 

Fibrax ensures that all its employees are competent to carry out their tasks and given adequate information, instruction, training and supervision. The company encourages all employees to be actively involved in maintaining safe operating conditions and practices and will consult with employees on all aspects of company operation that relate to their health and/or safety.
